Bulldozer flattens party office of TMC leader Kailash Mishra’s aide in Howrah's Liluah

The civic administration executed a high-voltage eviction drive in the Liluah area of Howrah on Thursday afternoon, completely demolishing a political party office associated with Surajit Chakraborty. Chakraborty is known to be a close associate of local influential leader Kailash Mishra. The targeted enforcement operation commenced around 12:30 PM under intense administrative vigilance to reclaim illegally occupied state resources.

The structural action followed grave allegations that the political establishment had been built unlawfully by encroaching upon a government drainage system situated alongside a major road adjacent to the local trench (bhagar). Following a thorough assessment of land mapping records, civic authorities authorized the deployment of heavy machinery to dismantle the unauthorized building blocks. The entire structural concrete foundation was flattened using bulldozers as part of the state's ongoing wider crackdown against public land encroachments.

A large contingent of police personnel from the Liluah police station, alongside senior administrative officers, cordoned off the locality to manage law and order during the demolition.
